Dear members:
CCASJ is planning to organize Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration on Saturday, September 17. This would be a great time for our families and friends to get together and to develop our friendship. Also, some city dignitaries will be invited to introduce them to this important aspect of Chinese culture.
Time and Date: 5:30pm – 8:30pm, Saturday, September 17
Location: Stone Church, 87 Carleton St.
Program: Introduction about the Mid-Autumn Festival
Arts Display
Performance (5:30 – 6:30)
Potluck Reception (6:30 – 8:30)
The evening will start with a brief introduction about the Mid-Autum festival background and tradition. This will be followed by performances, some of which have been rehearsed and put together over the past couple of months. After the performances, we will gather together to mingle and share our favorite dishes.
Admission is free. However, please do bring your favorite dishes to share with your fellow friends.
To help us in preparation for this event, we kindly ask you to reply to info@ccasj.org before September 15th, in order to give us a better idea of the expected number of participants for this event.
