Chinese Language School

GSJCCA Chinese Language School offers Chinese language and culture classes every Sunday. There are 12 classes in total each term.

2018 Fall Mandarin Classes details:

Kids ( at least 5 years old ):

Level 1 ( beginners ): suitable for kids who haven’t learnt any Chinese language
Objective: have some basic Chinese language knowledge, build up interests in Chinese learning

Level 2 ( intermediate ): suitable for kids who have already learnt Chinese pronunciation and some basic language skills
Objective: improve Chinese language skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing; be prepared for test YCT ( level 1-2 )

Teenage:

Level 1 ( beginners ): suitable for people who haven’t learnt any Chinese language
Objective: have some basic Chinese language knowledge, build up interests in Chinese learning

Level 2 ( intermediate ): suitable for people who have already learnt Chinese pronunciation and some basic language skills
Objective: improve Chinese language skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing; be prepared for test HSK ( level 1-2 ), which is good base for travelling to China and applying for Chinese scholarship

Level 3 ( advanced ): suitable for people who can communicate fluently in Chinese and write Chinese Characters
Objective: learn advanced Chinese including Chinese poems and literature, improve reading and writing skills, be prepared for test HSK ( level 3-4 )

Adults:
aim to increase local people’s interests in learning Chinese Mandarin and know Chinese culture

We choose “1988 Basic Chinese Characters” as our textbook, to let students learn the origin of each character and how to write Chinese characters!

Kids: Level 1: 12:00 Pm – 1:00 Pm Level 2: 12:00 Pm – 1:00 Pm

Teenage: Level 1: 1:00 Pm – 2:00 Pm Level 2: 1:00 Pm – 2:00 Pm Level 3: 2:00 Pm – 3:00 Pm

Adults: Level 1: 2:00 Pm – 3:00 Pm Level 2: 3:00 Pm – 4:00 Pm

Featured Class: 3:00 Pm – 4:00 Pm

Chinese Cultural Club:

The aim of the club is to let the learners experience and enjoy the lively activities and enhance their Chinese learning interests. People who join our Chinese classes are invited to experience the featured Chinese culture club for FREE. We will host various lectures and activities from time to time to let our students experience Chinese traditional cultures outside the classes, such as Chinese cooking, Chinese tea culture, paper-cutting, brush writing, etc.
