It is with regrets that I have decided to retire from Family Practice, as of February 5, 2012.

In order to receive your copies of Medical Record, please call 647-8888 and make an appointment to come to the office in person before February 4, 2012. You must bring your Medicare card as your I.D. and sign a form before the record is discharged. (Please call 7 days in advance and do not wait until the last week to pick up your chart).

*Since the medical records are confidential documents, if you want to pick up your
spouse’s or your friend’s chart, you must bring in his/hers signed consent letter.

Since there is shortage of physicians in Saint John and all over Canada, you may have to make an effort to seek one yourself.
These are the steps you can do:

今天，我受王一帆父母的委托、并代表圣约翰全体华人向今天所有参加一帆同学追思会的朋友们、同胞们表示最真诚的谢意。感谢大家一同来追思、缅怀一个鲜亮、聪灵的生命。

一帆同学由于溺水事故，在圣约翰地区医院经过两天的全面抢救无效，于9月20日下午2点永远的离开了我们，告别了这个他曾经生活了17年的世界。我们为他的离去而悲恸、哀悼，为他的年少生命而惋惜、哭泣。

一帆，你虽然离开了这个世界，但你却永远地活在你亲人的心里，也活在你仅仅生活了18天的圣约翰华人的心中。 18天，在你的生命中虽然短暂，但却给圣约翰的人们留下了难以抹去的印记。17年虽然不长，但却精彩的记录着你孝顺、聪明、好学、诚实、友善的人生。你追求完美、自信向上、聪明活泼、乐于助人。你不长的生命里已注满了一个完美生命所具有的一切优秀的生命品质。你是朋友的铁哥们，老师的好学生，长辈的好孩子，你永远是你父母的骄傲。

一帆同学的事，牵动了无数颗关爱的心。有多家媒体报道，关注着一帆在医院的每一点进展。很多华人同胞纷纷到医院探望，为守护者送餐，联系相关部门，帮助和劝慰一帆的父母。为此，我受王一帆父母的委托，向所有关注、关心、支持、帮助他们的当地友人、华人同胞、同学、老师和朋友表示由衷的感谢。

Friends and Guests:

On behalf of the Chinese community of Saint John, I am entrusted by Wang Yifan’s parents to express our sincere gratitude to you all for attending his memorial service.

Yifan suffered a swimming accident at the Saint John Aquatic Center and died two days later on September 20th at the Saint John Regional Hospital. We grieve his untimely death at the young age of 17 and mourn that he has been taken away from us.

Yifan, you have left this world, but you will live forever in the hearts of your parents, friends and loved ones. You will be remembered by the Chinese community of Saint John, where you lived for just 18 days. Eighteen days of your life is short, but for the people of Saint John you have left an unforgettable mark. Seventeen years is not long, but you filled your life with so many meaningful and colorful experiences. Length is only one aspect of a life, but the quality and meaning of life are the real essences. You showed fine characteristics during your day-to-day life by pursuing perfection and demonstrating a bright confidence, kindness and helpfulness. You were a true friend and a good student who brought pride to your parents and your extended family.

Yifan’s accident has prompted an outpouring of love and concern from countless people. The local media have reported every development of Yifan’s treatment. Many people from the Chinese community came to the hospital to visit and provide support, including food, transportation, contacting the relevant agencies, as well as helping to console Yifan’s parents. To this end, I am entrusted by Wang Yifan’s parents to express their most sincere gratitude to all local friends, fellow Chinese, schoolmates, school teachers and others who have provided attention, care and support at this difficult time.

Yifan has left for another world, leaving us to live our lives properly, so that his soul can rest in peace. At this moment, I express our most sincere condolences to Yifan’s parents, his extended family, and his relatives in China.

Yifan, we are gathered here today to pray for your journey to a new life. Your parents will accept their loss with strength, and will continue to pray for you. The Chinese community, the Chinese students of Saint John, will continue to pray for blessings for you and your family.

Yifan, we believe that even though you are now far away in heaven, you will certainly receive every blessing from each of us.

Let us say, God bless you, bright boy!

We learnt with regret the death of Chinese boy, who arrived Saint John only less than a month ago from Mainland China. He passed away at 2pm on. September 20 in Saint John Regional Hospital. This ordeal has touched many hearts, and attracted much media attention that has been following Yifan’s progress in the hospital. We woul like to thank all the support from the community, especially our fellow Chinese who came to visit him and bring meals to his guardians.

His parents are arriving Saint John the night of September 21. We would like to extend our condolences to his parents. We wish our members could help in anyway to provide comfort to his parents, from preparing meals to providing transportation, to help them to pass the most difficult time.

We would also like to take this opportunity to show our appreciation to the volunteers who cared for he and gave us help throughout the past few days.

As President of CCASJ I have been juggling betwen the Hospital, Police Station and also the media, and do apologize this late notice.

通报大家一个不幸的消息，刚到圣约翰一个月的中国男孩由于意外，因抢救无效于9月20日下午2点左右在 Saint John Regional Hospital 永远地离开了我们。我们深深地为他哀悼。连日来，此事件牵动了无数颗关爱的心，多家媒体报道，关注男孩在医院的每一点进展，使我们看到了来自社会的支持；特别是许多华人同胞纷纷到医院探望，为守护者送餐，充分体现了我们海外华人互帮互助的风貌。

男孩的父母将于9月21日晚11：30PM到达圣约翰，敬请大家能以不同的方式献一份爱心，抚慰男孩父母丧子的痛苦，让他们感受来自海外大家庭的温暖。发扬我们华人的光荣传统，一人有难，大家相帮。你可以做一顿餐，出一次车，做一件事。用爱心帮助他们渡过最艰难的日子。

Dear Parents,

The new term is beginning and it is believed that the kids have been ready for school. Here we friendly remind you that the Chinese School of the CCASJ is going to resume at the same time. The Chinese class information for this session is shown below:

(1) Same as last session, two levels of classes will be offered: senior class (bid-kid class) and junior class (little kid class)
(2) The senior class will be instructed by respectful Ms. Tao and the junior class will be instructed by respectful Ms. Xu
(3) Altogether 12 classes will be offered
(4) Schedule: beginning from September 9, 2011, the class will be offered from 6:30 to 7:30 PM every Friday
(5) Location of School: Stone Church
