亚洲传统月庆祝活动欢迎您!
加拿大议会在2002年5月21日宣布每年的5月为亚洲传统月, 以纪念及庆祝亚裔加拿大人悠久丰富的历史。加拿大政府也藉此来承认亚裔加拿大人在提高生活质量, 为把加拿大建设成世界上最好多元文化的国家所作的贡献。
在纽宾省亚洲传统学会牵头下,圣约翰市的亚裔社区联合推出了以下活动:
- 5月9日:亚洲传统月开幕式

- 5月1日至6月12日:亚洲文化展
地址: 纽宾省博物馆 (5月9日和18日免费入场)
与纽宾省博物馆合作,我们为亚洲文化庆祝活动准备了特别的展示。这个展览展示本地亚裔社区的生活及艺术创 作。
- 5月29日:亚洲文化大汇演
地点:Trade and Conventional Centre
下午7:00 (文化表演和美食接待)

Asian-Heritage-Month Celebration Welcomes You!
On May 21st 2002, the Parliament of Canada declared May as Asian Heritage Month in recognition and acknowledgement of the long and rich history of Asian-Canadians. The Canadian Government also recognizes the contributions of Canadians of Asian descent who have helped to improve the quality of life and build Canada, the best and most multicultural country in the world.
Under the umbrella of the Asian Heritage Society of New Brunswick, local Asian communities have joined forces to present a series of events to celebrate Asian Heritage Month in Saint John.
May 9: Opening – Asian Heritage Month
Market Square Atrium
2:00 pm (music and finger food)
May 1 – June 12: Asian Heritage Exhibit
New Brunswick Museum
(free admission on May 9 and 18)
In partnership with the New Brunswick Museum, we have prepared a special community exhibition as part of the Asian Heritage celebrations. This exhibit showcases the activities of our local Asian communities and our Asian artistic creations.
May 29: Asian Heritage Gala

7:00 pm (Cultural performances and finger food reception)
Celebrate an evening Asian Style! With Asian Cultural performances for all tastes, our aim is to share the beauty of Asian Culture, Heritage and Friendship during “Asian Heritage Month”.
Please enter the Asian Heritage Wonderland and experience the diversity of our Asian Cultures!
We encourage you to wear your ethnic costumes to these events.
